Ghee is considered a highly sattvic food in Ayurveda, but only if the milk and butter exhibit sattvic qualities. To ensure this, we use only organic Ghee from hay milk PDO for our Classic Ayurveda Ghees and Gritas (medicated Ghees). Furthermore, we ensure that our Ghee is made according to Ayurvedic principles only from fresh butter. We focus on quality over quantity and have our Ghee produced in a small Austrian dairy. Here, butter is freshly made from the cream of the hay milk, and the Ghee is freshly cooked the next day.
