Calcium is an important mineral that is particularly important for the growth and maintenance of bones and teeth. It is also important for digestion, blood clotting and normal signal transmission between nerve cells. Based on the National Nutrition Survey II and the intake recommendation of the DGE, 46% of men and 55% of women in Germany do not reach the recommended daily intake of calcium.

We use Ayurvedically purified calcium from mussel shells for our capsules. For better bioavailability, Ayurveda recommends taking it together with Amalaki (not scientifically confirmed). The Amalaki powder we use is rich in vitamin C.
