For our Amalaki herbal capsules, we use high-quality raw materials in organic quality from sustainable cultivation, which are carefully harvested, cleaned, and dried. Although it is a traditional product, modern manufacturing and drying processes are also used.
Our company imports and processes Ayurvedic plant products based on a certified HACCP quality management system. Accordingly, each imported batch is tested by accredited laboratories for the relevant parameters to exclude contamination—especially with regard to heavy metals, microbiology (bacteria, etc.), and pesticides.
Description
Amalaki (Amla)
Amla is known in Ayurveda as the "fruit for youth and beauty" (this is not scientifically proven). It is considered the most important Rasayana. In German, it is also called "Indian gooseberry" because it resembles the local gooseberry. The fresh fruit is extremely sour and contains a high amount of vitamin C. Of six possible tastes, it covers five – only salty is missing.
It calms all three doshas, but especially the Pitta dosha.
